Marketing & Communication Council
The UNM Marketing & Communication Advisory Council (MarComm) was established to build a sense of community and serve as a forum for a wide range of topics related to marketing and communication across the University. The purpose of this council is to facilitate the exchange of creative ideas and share updates on marketing and communication initiatives underway institutionally and among the various units on the campus engaged in telling the UNM story.
University communication and marketing professionals are encouraged to bring forward information, questions, and issues from the areas they represent. They are responsible for informing those in their areas about how to promote effective communication and collaboration in planning and implementing institutional marketing and communication initiatives.
The MarComm serves as a key stakeholder group to assist University Communication & Marketing (UCAM) in advancing and communicating the comprehensive UNM brand.
Council meetings are open to anyone interested in attending, particularly those who have marketing or communication responsibilities in their departments. Council meeting times will be posted online, and meeting information and materials will be available upon request. Questions regarding the Council or brand strategy initiative can be directed to unmbrand@unm.edu.
