Letter From Marketing Task Force
Over the next year, we will be working with the campus and external communities to develop a brand for the University. We have set up this Web site as a resource for University stakeholders to become familiar with the branding process. It is one of the ways for us, as UNM’s community, to communicate.
An institutional brand will showcase our University; it will build on our reputation. Not only will it highlight the great faculty and students already at UNM, it will attract more. Not only will it promote the research and health initiatives being done at UNM, it will generate more resources for such endeavors.
This multi-faceted institution is many things to many people. Projecting UNM as a single image, while bolstering all its parts, will be a challenge. But in the long run, an overarching and all-inclusive message of what UNM means to New Mexico and beyond will strengthen this University’s capabilities.
